It really does suck, you can't locally search for things like floorstanding speakers. This is the "netflix" of marketing rollout blunders for hi-fi.

The other problem is they have paying customers with current ad's and the website is 'effd up. I bet they will me making some partial refunds to a lot of angry customers, or at the very least extending the listing period for free.

I'd be surprised if they got off their high horses and did that.

I think they'll get it under control eventually. Some of the new search tweaks are kinda nice . . . like the ability to limit what you see to certain monetary value.

Not being able to email sellers directly, losing the ability to check area codes, and now seeing 100% positive feedback for people with zero sales? If anyone has other sites that I can start using, that would be appreciated.

I'm with you blueboxer.I always depended on the feedback and liked looking around the area by zip for stuff. You can enter zip codes in the search but i have found it is not very helpful as i have seen items close that do not show up when i search the zip.

What an amazing cluster f?€k! I know if I did that to my company, I'd already be looking for a new job. There are a few refinements which are improvements, and I really don't mind the new look, as the old one was quite antiquated. But, they should never have lost any of the functionality. I'm thinking about asking for my blue book subscription money back.

Hopefully whoever owns or runs audiogon takes note of this.

I use to go there everyday for something but not anymore.

There's no point having a nice UI if you can't search for anything properly - and I'm sure that impacts people selling stuff. It's in Beta I think so here's hoping they fix the site.

If beta I would have thought they would trial it offline allowing some people to come in and provide feedback. This is the worst impementation I have seen of a site redo.

Sal, that a sold item stayed was one of the great things about Audiogon. You could see what the asking price was and use that for comparsion....like a free resource. What Audiogon is trying to do now is force you to subscribe to their Bluebook feature, which is actually pretty useless.

Days left....not sure what help that is. Searching by price really limits what you see....much better to see everything, it gives one a better perspective.

I wanted to look at LPs and SACDs, and couldn't find them.

I searched for MFSL and got a $15,000 cartridge as an only listing. I then went down the side bar and clicked on music and all the MFSL stuff came up. They have some problems to work out!
