The best $5 a month I've spent in a long time. Not the perfect music service but quite a bargain never the less. I'm listening to more new music than ever. It will certainly save me on future CD purchases.

Hmmm... looks like quite a deal, although I haven't yet tired of the free versions of Pandora and Slacker. Presumably better quality, though.
Enjoy the best audio quality of any music service, streaming at 320 kbps.
    Sounds interesting. Thanks!

MOG gives me the opportunity to listen to music I would never buy. Yesterday alone I sampled classical, country, ambient, disco, jazz, 60s garage, and singer soungwriter genres. I've discovered artists I had never heard of and now really enjoy. Tina Dico, Stephen Bennett, Harold Budd, Gordon Gilchrist etc. They don't carry complete artist cataloges which can be frustrated if your looking for something in paticular but for $5 I can live with that.

I use Rhapsody, tried Spotify but didn't care for it. Rhapsody's premium service which gives you 24/96, is only 10 bucks a month. Seems to be a more complete service than some of the others and it simply works, without drop outs.

I love MOG. I pay the 10/month to be able to use it on my phone as well. The streaming at 320 through the dac is fantastic. I switched to MOG from spotify about 4 months ago and haven't looked back.

I have had MOG for a while now for $5, but just upgraded to $10 to have it on my android phone as well.

The day a cd is released, it is available on MOG. Not every artist (or every cd from every artist), but almost anything is available.

You can play individual cd's, make a playlist, listen to artist radio, etc.

Also, for the Pandora lovers. MOG has a really cool feature where you can pick an artist and play other music in that genre, just like Pandora. However, MOG gives you the option to pick how much you want to hear the original artist in the mix. Anywhere from most of the songs by your artist, or very few.

At this point, I really like MOG and I believe it has the best quality stream available currently.

Thats gotta be a typo , I thought they topped out at 192k. Mog I believe does 320k which is damn good and supposed to be the best streaming audio quality available as of right now. If Rapsody did 24/96 , I would rejoin right now , that would be incredible.

How is it for putting music on your mobile device? I have Rhapsody and like it for streaming but have always hated its software interface for putting music on my player. I like the idea of 320k. Rhapsody is only 192k which sounds a bit thin.

I use it and like it a lot. I have it on the Sony Google TV via the digital out to the AVR sounds really good but I am hunting for a nice DAC to complement. It is a good value for $10 a month and I can use it on my phone at work.

If you want CD quality streaming the only option I know of it a French company called Qubuz. It's a bit pricey, and I'm not sure if it will work in the states without a proxy, and the site is in French, but other than that I'm sure it's awesome!

I have not use Rhapsody in some time. But for MOG I do like the phone interface. Now it will only do 320K as long you are on Wifi or 4G

Mog tops out at 320Kps for just aout all their ocntent which sets them apart from the others who are not so consistent. The service is awesome. For best sound quality, download the stand-alone app for Windows 7 or Mac OSX

Not much to add but I will say that I really enjoy MOG, I compared it directly to Rhapsody and the sound quality is noticeably better. I use it for background music while working at my desk, cooking, cleaning, etc., and while driving. I am never bothered by the sound quality in those contexts, whereas I was with rhapsody. It certainly isn't cd or reference quality, but it does sound good enough that I will find myself stopping what I am doing to listen. Plus I have also been using the app on my HTC One X the last couple weeks and I really like it. I was just going to upgrade for travel and then go back to the 5 a month plan, but I like the mobile version so much I may just keep it...

I started using MOG a couple weeks ago (just the free version). So far I'm liking it. The quality is acceptable, and as was mentioned earlier, it's a great tool to discover bands that you'd never go out and buy blindly.

As for the sites that claim they can stream 24/96, I'm skeptical (if not outright calling B.S. on them). Where are they getting the higher sample rate, greater bit depth music? From the studios? Even their older catalog material? I doubt it (and if they are, color me impressed!). If anything, I'd bet they are upscaling CD quality to 24/96, which won't really sound anything like a true 24/96 stream, imo. Marketing at it's best... "We stream 24/96." Ooooooh, ahhhhhh.

I've been using MOG for several months now, and one of the best features is one no one has mentioned yet... you can download any music you want to your phone so it's available when you aren't in a high-speed area. Any time I'm interested in an album or song, I just have it download and then don't have to worry about signal strength... crazy awesome feature. Fantastic app and a great way to listen to almost any music imaginable.

Most all the big music streaming companies have the same features. The differences come down to music inventory, sound quality, and dependability. Tried Mog, Spotify, Rhapsody and for me Rhapsody won out in the end. Mog sounded slightly better, but had less of a music catalog to search from. Spotify had a good amount of music, but kept dropping out. Rhapsody has probably the biggest catalog of music and has been rock solid for me. Pro's and con's to each service, but any of them are well worth the small coin it costs. I would encourage anyone streaming music to give any of these services a try.

    P.S. - reported

P.P.S. - I really, really like MOG. I've been using it for around a year, and highly recommend it. The only problem I have with it is when I make catalog requests, someone gets right back to me to tell me they might add my requests, but then they never do. Then again, it's kind of like when I was a kid and I called radio stations (does anyone remember radio?) to request songs and they said they would play my request and then they never did. So it's got that nostalgia factor too.

Lately, I've found some surprising entries on MOG which show they are increasing their catalog. My wife was listening through music the other day and realized that for Tori Amos, they've got 27 different complete live shows from her Legs & Boots tour, not to mention several other live shows... don't know if it's trend or not, but I've been seeing lots more live music from other artists as well...
