I've just placed an order for an Integra DHC-80.3 sound processor via one of the local dealers yesterday. Geez, talk about the death of local AV stores, I was the only customer for the entire 3 hours I spent there
Anyway this new pre-pro will complete my separates setup by replacing my current Denon AVR-4810ci. Does any of you guys have any experience to share with this brand/model?

Ah, and this local dealer also has a GoldenEar Triton Two setup in one of their rooms. I've been yearning to experience this set for almost a year, and it didn't shine at all. In fact, it couldn't compare to my Polk LSi setup. Maybe the reason was the dealer connected the speakers directly in to an Integra DTR-50.2, or maybe not. But this made me happy about the fact that last year I made the right choice staying with the LSi's after seeing a GoldenEar Triton Two ad in our FM.

I got to hear the integra 80.2 on my travels for a HT pre. I wanted something diff to break away from the receivers and get to the next level and I gotta say that the integra 80.2 was amazing for HT and sounded really good for music. If I did not have electrstat speakers then I would have bought the 80.2 but I went with ARC instead of the xt32 in the integra. The bass was so clean and detailed to my ears on that unit

A friend of mine has been using the 80.3 for about a month or so. The xt32 room correction is very impressive. I know at least one guy who sold his Anthem D2V once he tried the Integra. I think you will be very happy with it. If I had the extra coin, I would be picking one up. The dac's sound very similar to my W4S dac2.

I was able to listen to the Golden Ears a couple weeks ago and although they are dynamic, I wasn't blown away like I was expecting. The bass was too heavy and although that could be adjusted I'm sure, it left the impression that they would be better suited to home theater use than 2 ch. I don't have any experience w/ the lsi or rtia's but felt that even my vintage monitor 10's w/ peerless and a very nice sub wouldn't be giving up all that much and a hell of a lot less expensive. Just my opinion. Sorry can't help you w/ the Integra but it looks to be a very nice piece so I hope you enjoy it.

THe DHC 80.3 is a beast. It has more connections then any sane person will ever need. It's sound quality is top notch for theater and very nice for music. I really like the Integra line from the receivers to the pre's.

    You made a wise choice.
