Surroundbar SDA Subwoofer Clicking

I received a polk surroundbar SDA for Christmas this year (brand new) and as soon as I hooked up the sub and the bar, the subwoofer started making this really loud (and pretty annoying) clicking noise during certain bass lines. I later found that it was coming from the sub's ventilation hole. (the seems weren't properly melded together so they hit each other during heavy bass). I was wondering if this is normal and if there is an easy way to fix it? Any kind of suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
