Anyone that has the smarts to build one or even better has one i can borrow to see if it will work.

    IIRC, it's just a matter of attaching a pin/blade cable to a small transformer. Not hard to do at all, the hardest part is cutting up a pin/blade cable !:eek::lol:

    i'll have to look at old threads.i know there is a transformer involved but i thought standard speaker wire went to and from

    I had to re-read Darqueknight's thread a few times, but it's not difficult. The main thing is to get the correct transformer from Avenel.

    Also, you can use speaker cable. For each speaker to transformer run connect the postive to the IC pin (or binding post if you've done that mod) and the negative to the negative BP for the lows - don't need to use the blade.

    Are you wanting a dreadnaught for anon common ground amp? I'm thinking of building one for my common ground amp to see if it makes an improvement.
