A buddy of mine is eyeing their amps.Looks like old threshold people but i know nothing about them.

    Yea i saw that but 2007 is the most recent.A lot can happen in 4 years.
    Might be great stuff but i think my buddy should do his homework before dropping 12k on 2 mono blocks.
    He should buy the new carvers for that kind of $$

    I didn't like all their spec's for those mono amps. The slew rate really turn me down, for that money I would buy Parasound Halo JC-1 mono amps.

    For that kind of money you can get Pass Labs used mono's and those, I'm sure, are far superior and have better support.

    Coda makes excellent gear and has great support for their products. (At least they did when I needed it a couple years back). Even the gear they make and rebadge for others (like InnerSound). That bothers some folks that they make gear for others and rebadge it, but it absolutely positively has not stopped me from enjoying it. I've had their 03p phono stage, 02b pre amp and owned a couple of amps with the InnerSound badge. When InnerSound went under, Coda made some repairs for a bad InnerSound amp I picked up.

    I sold an InnerSound/Coda amp to a guy in Taiwan. I was boxing it up and thought I'd better set it to their voltage so there would be no plug and play mishaps upon arrival. I broke the plastic tabs removing the fuse holder/IEC module. They sent me one Standard Overnight on my FedEx account so I could get the amp on its way. So I have good memories of Coda.
