What's up everyone?
This is where I got my Craft beer start and last night a few of my closest friends got together for some snacks and beers. Uno always has some killer craft beers on tap and in bottle. Since it's Stout season , they have 2 very good stouts on tap as well as Founders Breakfast Stout which is really growing on me. My first encounter with this beer I didn't like it at all , but It was Oktoberfest season and the Ultra heavy beers where not in season yet. I jumped a bit soon as I kept looking at the creepy Kid on the label scarfing down a bowl of Oatmeal. A few of my friends told me about this beer and despite the creepy kid , I got some and really didn't like it.
Once colder weather hit I started down the road of Stouts ( I have another thread for stouts) and revisiting Founderss Breakfast. I know consider it one of my top beers in Stouts go figure.
I'm sure Uno's are going to have more local stuff like ours do so I'm not going to talk much about what brands I had other then just the kinds I had.
I had this super good Porter from a local Brewer , most excellent , Double Stout which was about the best Stout I have ever had. Some weird Spice beer that tasted like a incense but in liquid form , basically I hated it. You could say it was a Spencers rug after a bad rain and someone squeezed it into a glass and called it beer. Troegs Hop back Amber which was a beautiful IPA style like beer that I really loved , local but I think they sell around the country , if not shame for people not close to PA or NJ which is where it's sold around me.
On a side note to PA people , do yourself a favor and also check out Iron Hill Brew put in Phoenixville Pa. They have a wonderful selection of Double bucks , Stouts and mad Ale's on tap. I had a German Dunkel on Tap and I actually hated it. Dunkels are one of my very favorite style beers and they suck at making it , leave it to the german's boys. But everything else was top notch.
So Cheers my fellow Pokies , get out there and drink something.

Our local UNO is just a restaurant with no real bar whatsoever. Decent pizza, though.
