I prefer the first few albums, Rubber Factory being my favorite, they Remind me of The North Mississippi Allstars first few albums a raw Mississippi Hills Style in the vein of RL Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, or T Model Ford, then they start pleasing the masses and tone down and change thier style, not saying I dont dislike El, Camino I just like the old Black Keys better. You should check out The first North Mississippi Allstars album, then listen to thier new stuff you will see what pleasing the masses is all about.
