Why is it when ever I head towards the rig I am greeted half way by my pup (103lb chocolate lab) licking the snot out of my hand? Might I add hes depositing some snot of his own causing me to go wash my hands and ultimately being the large part of a vicious circle?

Yes it will never end. He is associating music with the great taste of your hands.

While I was soldering the quick disconnect for my tweeter last night my pup decided to stand on two legs and prop his front feet against the mids on my SDA2Bs. My wife was helping me but after the less than gentle kick I gave the dog I found myself to be all alone soldering the disconnect. I love the little dog but that move by her crossed the boundaries of her happiness vs. my happiness. I loved on her later.

I was just now having an especially nice SDA moment, and wished I had a beer. Found one bottle left of Samuel smiths oatmeal stout. Wife went to bed and saw this thread. It's great to have a stout; a good ear, and a guitar I'm about to shred.

He is quite disgusting and believe me he is all dog. It's like he starts at one end and licks for hours. I can't help but remember the phrase on I Robot. "I pray to you that dog has been licking its **** for 6 hours! What ever is there is either there to stay or gone for good!" Now I'm wondering where my hands have been lol

Yes dogs are disgusting but they do have one redeeming virtue you can save a boat load on toilet paper.

My dog's tongue is blue. He is magical. Magically hairy that is.

Black Chow and a white persian. No color is safe in my house.

Looking closely at that picture - I think that may have just been where my cat was laying. I think I spooked him taking the picture and he had actually ran away before I could snap it.
