Hello, I have the PSW110 and it is hooked up to my Yamaha RX-V371 receiver. The issue is, that when I turn the sub on and play music, the sub makes a horrific sound that resembles thunder. It continues long after I turn off the receiver off and only stops when i unplug the power cord. Any suggestions or remedies are welcomed. Thank you.

How is the sub hooked up? Sounds like you've got an open ground/short somewhere. If you have it hooked up by speaker wire, then souble check your wires. If it's LFE (can't recall if the PSW110 has LFE RCA) - then it could be a short in the amp somewhere?

It is connected with an RCA, but I don't understand how less than three hours of use could cause this issue. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday to call Polk.
