    Moving? Nahh.

His debt to income ratio is probably still too high.

My money says he's bench testing some Sony receivers... ;)

    He might be moving......
    it's been over a year.

In that time, in the house he wants to build. He could have built them 3 times over.

Good deal, time to finish this chapter FINALLY.

7whatever is a GREAT score. Actually, if you are over 600 - you are better than most (something like 80% of Americans)...

Just don't let the phone guy use that 8tc to wire your phones, thinking it's CAT5....

Waaaaaaaaaa..you got me there.Thats the first thing the wife wants to get rid of.If I known before they Installed it,I would have selected something else. It's standard. We upgraded enough so I will wait untill we move in to repace it.The wife wants it out now but she can wait.

We did a ton of lighting upgrades.I used Lutron Spacer system all over the house.Hi hats everywhere.

There is NO phone guys my man.I'm the phone guy,the complete low voltage wiring fool.I wired the entire house for multiroom audio, wired network(which I have a Wireless/wire router(linkys) go figure but will be good for the desktops anyway)Phone and Sat drops.Keypads and outdoor speakers as well. This will be fun.I can't wait to start the damn theater...........8tc is in my soul,is it in yours???Kimber..........

    Thanks alot for the support.

I can see it now! 8 dollars a foot, Dan purchases the entire thing, wires it up, then he demos different wire the next day and likes it better!!!!!!!

    Mx,
alittle more then 8 bucks a foot but it's a keeper anyway.I have demo'd so much wire it's not funny.Kimber is the correct cable for my system.

Just remember this..........matching is Key.It's not always the better wire thats better.........

We are leaving to do a final Walk down today at 4pm.I couple of small minor things I want the builder to take care of and I'll be very happy.

Man what a adventure this was........I don't think I will be buying another new house........unless I do extensive back ground checks on the builder first.I feel this is where I made my mistake.

I wonder if they have Houses in the thrift stores.....I believe next time will be used.......;)

    Dan,
Did you watch this builder do the framing of the house? Did you actively participate in the building? If not, I would definetely go up in the attic and look around.

Make sure each stud has a trend of 2 nails per stud. Also, measure between each stud to make sure he put one every 16 inches. What kind of OSB did he use on the floor and outside walls? 3/4 inch on the floor and 1/2 on the walls? How well did he brace the attic area? etc, stuff like that. It will definetely effect how well your house last. Just a few things I would check if you didn't watch him do it.

Good luck on the move man, looking forward to pics of the new abode.

BTW - It was the builder, not a new house. I'm not sure how big your house is. But no reason it should take more than 3 months to finish, 4 months max if it's incredibly huge and allllllllllll brick.

My high was at 784 or some **** but get this...

I had 1 hit on my credit report from effin Discover and canceled there card (I hate that company and will never own another card from them) back in 1998. It was a collection of 130 or so bucks and I had the last statement from them showing zero balance. I called the pukes up and asked them for my balance because of the collection and they said you don't owe anything, "as they sounded surprised". I replied then what is the collection for and silence was all I got. The underwrighter was pretty cool about the whole thing and said that if I showed up at close with a letter or something all would be good so I showed them my end statement which they accepted. 3 Days after close I finally got a letter from Discover stating my balance was zero and they were not sure how the collection hit my account and they were doing everything they could to clear it. The fucken thing is still there!!! They are ****!

Just goes ta show the credit card companies are not very diligent regarding our reputations. I have never, "I mean NEVER", stole anything in my life and not paying my bills is theft IMO. SHEESH!

There should be a better way for the consumer to manage the credit history companies!

    HBomb

rant over but I'm pissed over this even though I still got my house and all. Its just the point!

****.......as long as he drove by the house at least once every 3 months, he would have had ample time to look at the attic...............;)

They did a good job with the frame.I had my Brother inlaw inspect it.He said they used the est trusses and everything else. The quality isn't what sucked it's the speed of the builder.

    Thanks guys,

My only concern with regard to the speed is that with them taking their sweet **** time putting everything together, all of the insides of the house were exposed to the elements far longer than they probably should have. I don't know if that's a big deal or not, but I'm thinking that if a frame isn't supposed to be hangin out there for 6 months while they think about putting the walls up around it. Couldn't the damage already be done, and from the inside out at this point?
