"The Orth in all that writeup is an actual person that you can throw pencils and shoot spitballs at....how cool is that?"
But does he wear a white Lab coat?>

first, second, third, Orth. That'd be 24 dB per octave, right?
In all seriousness, this is a mammothly cool thing for you, Polk, the principals, etc. to be doing for folks around these parts. I tip my hat (had I a hat). -
Very cool guys! I want in.
-
Ok if you have MIT's in the mix I think I may just **** myself.... that is just way too awesome.

Mark, thanks for all you do, including really cool things like this. Please include photos of the upgrade so that we can all enjoy.

I usually do all my work in the buff so that may not be allowed here. At the very least it will have a very small black bar covering....the soldering iron.
I'll take some pics of the process, even though its not terribly interesting. However, the pics of the autographs and all that would be neat to accompany the loudpseakers. They will be custom and one-off's you know.
Just FYI, in further discussion with Polk about this, they expressed interest in doing more of this or doing some interactive work with the Club Polk forum. Don't get all gussied up yet but that's not typical from my experience. So stay positive.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? It's awesome that a company will step up and offer such a great thing to their fans. I applaude the powers that are making this happen, and I want in too!

This is awesome. I vote that a stipulation of the Karma is that if, for whatever reason, the winner does not use them anymore - they MUST be rekarma'd and not sold. If I won, that's certainly what I would do.

That would rock. Interactivity with the company responsible for the products. That would make for a very unique forum indeed. Lord knows I spend more time on this forum than I do reading the news lol..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."
