Do you think the BCS got shaken up this week?

yes or no? in my opinion it got shaken like a British Nanny.

#2 Oklahoma State, gone. Iowa State, 37-31. in OT cowboys QB throws interception.
#4 Oregon, gone. USC 38-35 USC did just enough to win this one since they didn't score at all in the fourth quarter.
#5 Oklahoma, gone. Baylor 45-38. Last minute touchdown pass maybe? missed it. that QB is electric.
#7 Clemson, gone. NC State 37-13 idk didn't watch. it was a blowout.

Still alive, Virginia Tech, LSU, Arkansas, Bama, Boise st., Houston??, and Stanford is playing now. if they win they're still alive. Why arkansas? if they beat LSU, Bama wins at Auburn? oh my goodness. that is just stupid to even think about. I mean Arkansas and Bama re match now?? WHAT?? is that even possible? would either of them even play in the SEC championship??

Penn State actually beat Ohio State, sorta surprising since Penns offense hadn't been scoring much. Penn State vs. Wisconsin will be a good one... plus all the emotions at Penn State too.

Totally ridiculous a week it has been

I'd be shocked if the BCS wasn't SEC 1-2-3 tonight.

Ya that's what I'm thinkin. Unless it just like Stanford enough to put them at third, then again no, arkansas destroyed the bulldawgs 44-17 and Stanford had a little trouble with Cal so you're probably right. it's like just when we thought it couldn't get any more weird now Arkansas actually has a chance for another shot at Bama lol

Just my two cents, but the PAC12 is SO much more fun to watch than the SEC. Anybody else feel the same way?

What would really shake it is if Arkansas could beat LSU next weekend possibly moving 'bama and Arkanasa to the 1 & 2 spots

the only thing USC Vs. Oregon, Stanford Vs. USC, Stanford and Oregon showed me is that they don't play defense too often. I would rather it be a defensive struggle than a shootout. If my team give up over 20 points WHICH THEY DID saturday, it makes them look crappy. But seriously, when was the last Bama faced the Triple Option lol Ga Southern looked like they could beat anybody they played, that was why they're 9-2 with a one point loss to Appalachian state. bunch of mess happening this year haha. we'll see if Ark can stay with LSU, they've proved early they can be thrown against and Arkansas throws the ball A LOT, should be a good one for sure!

This is true. I'm generally one of those people, but I don't mind the occasional defensive struggle, and the LSU/Alabama game was definitely an epic.

I understand. I mean don't get me wrong it's fun to watch a game like that, I just don't like it when it's my team, i guess that's the only time I wouldn't want to watch it

Don't get me wrong. I can appreciate a good defense, but a brilliant offense is a little flashier and a lot more fun to watch. More of a personal preference thing, but my preference none the less.

I don't think the game would be a 9-6 defensive game if they met again. I feel like Saban was playing it close to the vest and trying to do as little to hurt their chances as possible...why wouldn't he take shots down field at the end of reg? That's just how Saban is. I would expect to see a more wide open game if they met in National Championship game.

I, personally, am not a big PAC-? (whatever it is this week) fan. WHen they come up against SEC teams they are shown for the weaker conference they are. just MOHP.

Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. As a former defensive lineman, I loved the LSU-AL game. While those teams with the flashy offenses are fun to watch, time after time we see what happens when a good offense meets a great defense. I like to see good offenses also, but only if that team has a good defense to go along with it. Frankly all of these great offense but week defense teams make me want to puke! I just don't respect a team (on any level) if they can't play defense. The line is where it's at (on both sides of the ball) and where big boy football is played.

correct, just look at Oregon last year, scoring over 40 points ten times, then 19 against auburn.

I understand you liking these games and that's cool, I like a good defensive struggle also. But sometimes I like when bama or one of the good SEC teams score 40 or 50... on Auburn;)

Defense is the reason football is respectable, intelligent, and dynamic.

When you embrace both sides of the line at all times the game will become a joy to watch.

Top 3 in the BCS? The honor goes to the SEC this year.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't want to see any offense whatsoever, especially when my team is playing. I just like to see a well balanced team with a good defense to go along with a good offense. It seems like so many teams these days are all offense with a fair to downright awful defense. I just don't get it, because as has been mentioned many times a good defense is what usually wins championships. If I were coaching or building a team I would start be assembling a good defense first. It seems like with so many teams these days, defense is an afterthought until said teams go up against a team that can shut their all-world, greatest-show-on-turf, offensive flavor of the week down. Every year 90% of the analyst are also going ga-ga over the latest-greatest offensive juggernaut. People just don't ever seem to learn.....

You are right on with that! It's the defense that allows Tim Tebow to win games for Denver. It may be that he fires up the defense with his intensity, but he alone is not winning games.

Dawg, I think the analysts just like it when teams score a lot of points. they just look past when a team scores 50 points and gives up 3 or 7. Oklahoma state did that one this year. every other week has been giving up double digits.

LSU blew out Arkansas, not surprised though, I mean seriously, they beat them by the exact same margin Bama did. LSU beat bama by 3. people hate. arkansas doesn't play defense, it showed in 6 other games, especially almost losing to Ole miss and Vandy.

Houston could possibly advance. Arkansas won't be in the top 10 after this romping. their SOS is something like 62 so yeah. Still people are mad Bama fans want a re match, when they only lost by 3, people are stupid and stupid people piss me off. LSU never made to the end zone and people obviously think they can if they play them again, maybe once, but they will never EVER score 41 points, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

LSU shouldn't have to beat Bama again, but if they lose to Georgia then bring on the rematch. Easily the two best teams in the country.

I'm happy for Houston and hope they get in a BCS bowl, but if they had LSU's schedule, they'd have several losses on the season.

If they lose to Georgia? if they lose that game they're out unless it's close.

All I know is if Bama wins tomorrow they'll at least play for the title. if LSU wins next week rematch there. if they lose I don't know if they'll still be no. 1 if they lost to Ga, unless it's close.

Arkansas is gone. they'll probably play houston and loss 79-78 lol

Hold your horses. If Bama doesn't win big and OK State does Bama will fall to #3, and they're out. LSU will beat Georgia. Arkansas played both Alabama and LSU, and after watching both games I'd say LSU is the stronger team. Yes, the winning margin was the same, but Alabama played a team that had 3 wins over nobody and LSU played a team that has wins over 3 top 15 teams. Either way, I don't think 'Bama gets a rematch. They'll probably play Houston and lose 79-38. lol

We're talking about Auburn Jmwest, Auburn that beat Bama last year after they had a 24-7 lead at half time. a demoralizing loss. You'd think their defense remembers that one bc all the same players are on this one. Bama won't lose.

LSU played that same Team bama played, Arkansas, it almost sounds like you said it was a different team all together., this team also almost lost 4 games to South carolina, OLE MISS key team, Vandy and Texas a&m who is losing about every week now. Please explain a little better where you're coming from. LSU and Bama played the same one-dimensional team Arkansas has been all year.

and Ok state played oklahoma next week and I doubt the cowboys have a win over an ok ranked team after losing to iowa, and btw, Oklahoma is trailing them right now. Iowa state I mean.

Thereby being penalized for winning the West Division and having to play in the Conference Championship. If this happens Alabama benefits by losing to LSU.
