What's all this about? He paid $100 to have it fixed, only to have it fail twice more in a short period of time. That really is unacceptable, and you would all be complaining if it happened to you.
There are plenty of members here that you would all be congratulating if they got Sony to fix their problem for free. So transparent...
Well thats what I had been hoping for william ...thanks for the clarity -
Pfb you have a lot to learn. I'm done and it's not worth my time to argue with two idiots now.DARE TO SOAR:

Got one. I'm a distributor for MIT. Ready to finally buy some good audio cables? I know you're cheap, but I can work ya a good deal once you get some decent gear.
You cant openly bash peoples equipment on the forum keiko its not the way we do things here . -

When my gear gets down to your level, I'll be sure and ask your advice. -
Bashing other peoples equipment? You're the one that seems to have a problem with breaking your gear, farm boy.
I know I have some misshaps but lets not try to shift the focus off of you bashing peoples gear openly on the forum infront of members . Its bad enough that you just came to this thread and many others just to make a personal attack in your attempt to be the club polk funny guy . Sure others think your great for your behaviors but alot of rational posters think differently I'm sure -

Sony kept me up and running for over three years, if this one goes I'm not going to waste my time and the time of anyone at Sony for a free one. I'll just buy a new one, with a new extended warranty...
For the amount of time my family uses the PS3 in my house between games, movies, Hulu Plus, music... It has more than paid for itself. Hell, the Hulu Plus app I can use now paid for the PS3 in a few months since I was able to drop cable.
I will feel zero ill will toward Sony when I have to drop the $$$ on a replacement someday.
Sorry this post got overlook and I hope to clear somthing up . The ps3 was not 3 yrs old before the $100 repair that lasted 3 months it was roughly one year old because it was a replacement brand new unit because the repair before that was unfixable -
Actually, I also got a second job. Pimpin' yomama.
It would be just like you to take advantage of a paralyzed old woman. -

Well, Willy asked. Which rules might these be, funny boy?
Anyways its time to move away from the negative and just continue on with the posative and that is ....
i BEAT SONY AND GOT WHAT i WAS TRULY ENTITLED TO ... A NEW PS3
Does anyone else on the forum have a ps3 that went bad or have one that they threw away ? -
The gaming consoles do get hot, just like my directv dvr. If you dont completely seperately those components you would have them shut down or burn out. My first ps my dog peed on it. My first Xbox I gave to a buddy to send to Cuba. My second Xbox lasted several years before the red ring of death. My ps3 is fine. I think even Xbox has a fan you can buy and attach to help with heat. You certainly seem comically prone to mishaps. There is a pattern here even an octopus could figure out. But, the consoles whether Microsoft or sony are computers which can fail for a variety of reasons. Well upstatemax I will now be receiving my 7 th playstation since I bought it originally with the (thank goodness) 3 year extended warranty plan. If your ps3 goes out that you have received then fight em by writing letters to BBB because they wont do crap for you over the phonepolkfarmboy wrote: »Errrmm there is only one child typing here at the moment .Electronics video game units fail because of the metal they use inside the machine .Back with the old ps2 and xbox the machines never suffered from overheating as much because they used alot of lead inside them but now with today's environment issues they stay away from it so the units have a higher fail rate
FYI bitching to the better business bureau got me a new PS3 free of charge
The whole point of this thread is to complain to the BBB and alike to get a free PS3 because its not our fault that they break !! The reason they break is a design flaw because Sony and Xbox did everything they could to get the product out on the shelfs first .I have had my new xbox running for longer than the ps3 and its perfect because its a new design ..... just like the ps3 slim
You're right that it's not our fault, but it's definitely your fault  Think about it, 7 PS3 within 3 years, there's something wrong about you. I really feel sorry for companies that sell you their products :cheesygrin:Gears shared to both living room & bedroom:

Well, that might be true, but I seriously doubt it. In fact, it sounds just stupid.
Maybe your units are failing because of all the neutrinos passing through it. :rolleyes:Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

Had my PS3 for going on 3 years now. Still got my PS2, N64, Sega Genesis w/CD drive, SNES and Neo Geo 330 meg console. All function as well as the day I bought them. Seven PS3s in three years? Yeah, it's a safe bet that Sony isn't at fault here.
My advice, quit getting them wet, farm boy.Not an Audiophile, just a dude who loves music, and decent gear to hear it with.
