It makes me wonder if maybe filters on power consoles (like the belking pf60) have a similar impact. I noticed a big difference in clarity when I got mine and was a bit stunned. I don't know how these technologies differ, so if you guys have a better grasp of this, would be interesting to know.Living Room 7.1 HT Rig:

Does something like this need to burn in?
I think so ...not sure - Phil? But you'll hear a difference right off the bat. I played 2 songs where background details were suddenly more audible / clear. Had to pause the songs b/c for a sec I thought something was wrong w/ the DAC
The other thing that's noticeable off the bat is that the background gets blacker/quieter.
Only had mine for a day (and I was gone yesterday) ..so about to run her some more now.ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place

Tony, the Sonos does not use a walwart, so the Pangea P-100 power supply can not be used in this application. I actually upgraded to a Pangea AC-14-C7 PC for the Sonos. It was a nice addition vs the stock PC that came with the unit. That inexpensive upgrade really made a difference.I think so ...not sure - Phil? But you'll hear a difference right off the bat. Adding the Pangea P-100 Power supply really did make a noticable difference. Everything snapped into focus & had a more fluid realism. The background definitely became quiter & the sonics were enhanced without a doubt. Just by adding these two low cost upgrades (Pangea AC-14-C7 for the Sonos & the Pangea P-100 for the DacMagic) really was money well spent. My Sonos (FLAC) playback system is simply a force to be reckoned with.
