I always thought the 1st 2 were pretty good, but, here we go again.

Saw the trailer for this. I might catch it on DVD...and only because of Emma Stone. Disappointed there won't be another Toby spiderman movie :(

Considering how many different comics series there have been and are yet to come, I don't think a reboot will be that bad! I saw the previews at the Avengers openning. The graphics are fantastic, and the perspective durring the web slinging and swinging is superior to anything produced so far. I'm a die hard spidy fan, so I'm siked!

All I want to know is when Spidey is going to STOP drinking Slim-Fast! lol He seems to be getting "thinner" and "thinner" and "thinner". Probably disappear into an alternate universe and become a "different" Spider-guy soon. lol

Toby did a excellent job and lets not forget about Mary Jane.
I'll go see the movie but I didn't think that needed a reboot. It was one of the best super hero movies made.

You know why they needed a reboot? Because they had to make a movie with the license this year or they lost the rights. I was totally against it, but the more I see of it, the more interested I am. As long as they can avoid those awkward emo strutting scenes that the others devolved into, it could be worth it.

But why a 'reboot' from zero?

Look at the Bond Franchise - they've changed Bond over the years - no need to go back and start over each time. Just carry on with the next story/installment....why rehash the 'origins' storyline over again? I think the viewing public 'gets' that Spiderman has spider powers....
