Putting a reminder to check back in 3 months on my outlook calendar

Probably won't take me that long to write something.

Impressions are very favorable for the Audio GD. Nice so far. I haven't done any comparing yet, just getting a general feel for the NFB-3 with various well known to me music. It does seem to have slightly more bass slam than the Keces, but I'm not sure which it "correct", is the Keces more neutral in that regard, or missing a tad bit of low end?

    Time will tell.

    Stay tuned

P.s. Both dac's have taken the office rig up a notch or two.

The slam of the Audio-gd is what took me by surprise too. Not overly done I feel, like a Digital link 3, but more natural, organic in it's presentation. Not flabby, but tight hard hitting bass that if it was called apon to deliver, it did so very well. It didn't draw attention to itself unless the recording demanded it. All in all, a nice piece, I feel is pretty darn good well above it's price range.

If I had to pigeon hole it, I would say soundstage width and height could be better, not that it's lacking in any significant way, but I did notice a difference when compared to my cdp. Wasn't huge like I said, just noticeable. It is a 300 buck dac though, perfection is not what one expects at that level.
