No doubt, buy the rest, I'm sure that you could sell them in the flee market at cost+ shipping and a small markup ($5/speaker?) for your effort...

I think a markup of $25 at least would be perfectly acceptable. Good find, have fun with them.

Damn, I am so jealous. I went to a local Southern California CC yesterday to check out the RT150. They have one last display pair, and they wanted $499 for each. At $300/pair, I'd more than happy to pay Terrax $50 extra for his effort to get a pair of RT150 and ship it to me. I wonder how much the shipping will be?

    Thanks guy's,

Listen, if you guy's want some freakin killer deals on Speakers or Audio equipment, I can recommend someone located in Shelby NC, that will make you say WOW!. The persons name is Greg, a very nice person, he owns Sound Advice, he has been in bussiness for 28 year and offers a fantastic place to buy from, of course for most of you guys it would mean a shipping charge, but still..... you will be supprised at the prices. Number is 1-704-482-6456, give him a try. Oh, and tell him Terry sent ya..

I will have a pair of Pinnacle Black Diamonds BD 1000 Towers in the house hopefully tomorrow afternoon.... Awesome speakers... PM me if ya wanna know how much.:D;)

Yes, he will ship out of state, but he does not have a Web Site. If you give him a call, he'll work with ya on shipping, I'm sure. I really couldn't believe how good the deals were, but there are real. Give it a shot.

Open box? That's a killer price for NIB. Still effing good for open box if they are in good shape!

But if you are gonna buy a bunch of them, I hope you have tractor trailer, a forklift and a warehouse, cause you ain't gonna want to load multiple pairs of these monsters in and out of your SUV, garage, etc... They are huge and weigh 81 lbs. each..

Edit2: now that I think about it, our recepits have "Store: XXXX" anyway.. also it might be three digits only.

It will be a 3 digit number, but I'm at work and the receipt is at home. You can try, but not sure they will, maybe if it's a nice manager. I'll check the store number when I get home.

I'm a very nice guy :) *hint hint*

ok, call me at 253-678-6306 and tell me your phone number, or last name, or.. anything I can use to look you up in CSIS and pull up your ticket :)

I want those speakers so bad, but even our cost is out of my price range.

Edit: the reason I don't just want the store number now is because I dont want to call and say "did you sell a pair of plk rti150black for $150 each?" and try and figure out who did and all that crap. If I can pull up your purchase history and show my ops manager that another store sold them for that I can get that price.

Congrats Terrax. You have officially dethroned me as the 150 price champ with this one! Remember when I told you before that I didn't think they could possibly go any lower than $186.88 each (that was the effective cost per speaker on the 2 pairs I bought with the B1PG1P@50%O deal), but that I had been wrong when I had thought that before after they had went even lower?

Please tell me where you found this price at, so maybe I can get CC here to do a price adjust, especially if it was in NC.

Let's see, with the 2nd pair at 50% off deal, that would bring the total effective cost per speaker down to about $112.50 each! Then, I would reclaim my low price champ title! That's assuming that they don't go even lower, which I very seriously doubt this time, but hey, I'va said that 2 or 3 or 4 times before and been wrong, so who knows?

The 150's were never big sellers because of their retail price, That is why the 70's havent dropped further... they want rid of them, I don't think they will keep price matching after you have done it once or so Big, i may be wrong though

I guess i never fully read the first post, some local shop was selling these for 150.00 each?? That is hard to believe... I beleive you, however "local shops" usually don't give big discounts like the big retail stores do/can... and CC price matched em is even more unbelievable.. again i take your word, but CC doesnt like to give discounts like that...

I haven't seen scott post for a while. Welcome back. That price is almost if not really too good to be true even polk would have at least that much in material to put them together, I don't know how they could do it at all.

    Please, read carefully!
Yes, as I said, I found a local place that has been in business for 28 years, that was selling a pair of RTi150's as mentioned, he does not sell anything with the mark-ups other sellers do. Everything I priced was outstandingly priced, that is why I posted this thread to begin with. In hopes some of you might find a good deal there as well. Not just on Polk Audio stuff, but anything, he carries or can get 60 different lines of speakers... Amps, Receivers, Cables, Car Audio, you name it. He seems to be a great guy, but I only met him yesterday... I went there to audition some speakers and subs. But his prices are fantastic, so I plan to be buying alot more from he, he does business nationwide, as I understand it. The point of the thread was that of my excitement, and trying to pass along to you guys a place to get good prices on audio equipment. understand? Nothing more, nothing less.:D

RTi150's for $150 - maybe a one time deal - selling at least half of cost. The local shop is full of **** but if CC PM'ed then you just stole them.

    Excuse me, Mr. Vamp,
But that was a very brazen and broad statement, you know nothing of me, or the situtation. One time deal?, I don't know. Maybe, since the RTi line is discontinued. I never said was or wasn't. And so what if it was at half of cost? Is that something that should piss you off? Why is it, that you would be bothered by my good fortune? To say someone is full of ****, without knowing nothing about it, is a rather rude as hell way to talk. And, the statement of, If CC PM'd them, then I stole them? WTF is that about? Does that mean you are calling me a thief? I certainly hope not? Liars and thieves? Because I came on here and tried to pass along to you all a good place to buy audio equipment, I and the local shop should be talked about like this? Fine.
I'm not asking anyone to believe me, As I said, Call Greg, get quotes on items you may be looking for.... I was just trying to help, But eff it.
