I would normally jump on this kind of thing but I just finished listening to the Mythos ST's and I'm still loving them. They are wonderful and they have a home here for as long as I can stand them.

If I where to buy new speakers , Klipsch and B&W are super high on my short list. Totem also are up in the top 3.
Without yet hearing the new LSIM's I have no comment on them yet. But the 703's are coming here shortly and I'm looking forward to feeding them some Rotel and Cambridge.

I am not disputing his tastes in speakers. Just asking what he see's in them is all. Because, either he is joking. Or there is something special he likes about them.

If I had to pick a new speaker under $5k (new) fitting my room, it would be the Harbeth Compact 7SE. Just stunningly consistent sound from top to bottom. The Harbeth room with them was one of the 3 best sounding rooms at RMAF IMHO.
