Aside from Cerwin Vega, What are the best for detail, at higher volumes?
Not an Audiophile, just a dude who loves music, and decent gear to hear it with.

the older JBL L-xx and L-**** series are scarey good at decent prices if you look around, most use the same tweeter, 8" to 15" woofers, ported, nice walnut veneer cabs! IMHO they are a few steps up from CV's in the detail and soundstage department...there's a reason JBL's are used in studios and for sound reinforcement onstage at concerts
    Thorens TD125MKII, SME3009,Shure V15/ Teac V-8000S, Denon DN-790R cass, Teac 3340 RtR decks, Onix CD2...Sumo Electra Plus pre>SAE A1001 amp>Martin Logan Summit's
