Everett - Sounds good man, will do. I think we'll be in the Baltics next year but since we've already been to the Keys 3 times....we obviously like it ya' think? We had a whole house on Freeschool Lane, right next to the Parrot Sanctuary. It had it's own pool, was decorated pretty nice and overall was just wonderful. Aside from Parking being a PITA it was cool. We rented a six person electric for a few days and parked it inside the fence. The fish we couldn't eat, which was a lot, we gave to the local who smoked in the alley every morning.
We hit the Smoking Tuna, Hog's Breath, Black Dog, Jack's Seafood House, Fat Tuesday, Hard Rock, Sloppy Joe's, Sarabeth's, Pepe's, Blue Heaven, Amigo's. A few stores we really liked were Bath Junkie, Cocktails, Earthbound Trading, 7 Artists, Key West Art Gallery, Wyland of Key West and the best Key West Olive Oil, WOW. We bought a couple nice pieces of art and sculptures that I'll post when we get them. A brand new bunny from EGG(Jim Kukoda) and a glass Buffalo bowl from Borowski @ Wyland. Nothing fancy, just neat stuff for a couple key spots in the house.
I'll definitly be in touch prior to the next visit.

Cool! You are practically a local now. My wife owns Key West Gallery on Duval and Southard. She carries Bill Mack, butirskiy, pino and some Wyland. She worked for Wyland before starting her own gallery. Thats where I learned that Bronze Is heavy and expensive. If you go back her name is kellie Alpert.
Smoking tuna is the newest place but I like it to. Our friend Bruce plays it the hogs breath. That key west olive oil has a habenero oil that is almost a weapon of mass destruction. Good stuff.
My wife has art shows which is a good time to come. Wyland and walfredo, James Coleman and others usually stop by and afterparty with us.
Good times, would love to have you back' and I know that hOuse on Feeschool "lane", wide enough for hat electric cart but just barely. Nice house and that guy that smokes fish has been doing it a long time.Polk Audio SDA CRS+ crossover 4.1TL by Trey/VR3 (Rings and custom stand by Larry)-Polk Audio SDA SRS2 crossovers by Trey/VR3Parasound HCA1500aYamaha rxa-3070 with musicast-Celestion SL6S presence,- sl9 surround backNHTsuper1's surroundMagnepan SMGParasound 1500pre- Sofia "Baby" tube amp - Monitor Audio Silver RX2 Marantz 2230/B&Kst140Technics 1200mk2 Gamertag: IslandBerserker I am but a infinitesimally small point meeting the line of infinity in the SDA universe -

is that eden house??? or is it your house?;)

Mi casa, but it does look like the Eden house. I like to live like I'm vacation the second I'm not working. So far so good! I had quit my successful corporate job and moved to Key West. Maybe not the smartest move but it wound up the best decision I ever made.Polk Audio SDA CRS+ crossover 4.1TL by Trey/VR3 (Rings and custom stand by Larry)-Polk Audio SDA SRS2 crossovers by Trey/VR3Parasound HCA1500aYamaha rxa-3070 with musicast-Celestion SL6S presence,- sl9 surround backNHTsuper1's surroundMagnepan SMGParasound 1500pre- Sofia "Baby" tube amp - Monitor Audio Silver RX2 Marantz 2230/B&Kst140Technics 1200mk2 Gamertag: IslandBerserker I am but a infinitesimally small point meeting the line of infinity in the SDA universe

I'm sure they did Steve and after actually talking to a couple of them, know they did.
Don't get wrapped up silly like Ted. Hosts of Polkfests don't offer that task lightly and the folks that attend, can attend, don't either. We've been on both sides now, RT1 included and honestly, I'd never do it again. It's way too stressful and I bowed out to Troy and younger ppl years ago. Good on you for stepping up...maybe some others, WEST COAST, will do so at some point but I'm not holding my breath. You've officially joined an ultra exclusive group...be happy man, much respect.

I probably had one of the least excuses to make it to polkfest. I know I'm a major newbie but I plan on going sometime. Awesome pictures all. The sunrises and sunsets are always incredible in Florida and especially down in the keys. I have been fortunate enough to previously live in FL for about 2 years in the Orlando area and have spent a lot of vacation time in St. Pete Beach area and down at the keys twice. It has always been very enjoyable and a lot of diversity of things to do.
I love the water and fishing and in Fl. Whether inland in the Orlando area or coastal you are never far from the water, fishing and it is never really cold. Some excellent bass fishing is to be had in this state also. Just have to put up with the snakes and gators that go along with that. -
I had a blast and was a vacation overdue by about 10 years.
I've alway done vacation time to see family, and that is far from relaxing.
One of the least things I thought I'd do (snorkeling) turned out to be my favorite and I learned that Kayaks are not (EVER again) for me.....holy hell was that a traumatic 45 minutes....lol.
Thanks for havin me along Mr. Terrie..... `comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
