Ok I have a cool Idea.
Actually it's something I have been doing for awhile now but I wanted to see if any of you would like to get involved in it.
What I want to do here is this, I'll post a Beer I have tried , then others can chime in on there thoughts. Write a review if you will. If you didn't try this beer , then maybe by the review it will inspire to to try it or not.

Right now it's Oktoberfest and these are the kinds of beers I'm trying along with any German beers I can find. We have a Beer store with over 1000 beers in stock and it's amazing. It's the largest selection in NJ.

What we also can do is take a picture of the beer and the glass. I'm using a Goblet which I really like for beer tasting as you get a wonderful smell of the beer before you down it.

So what do you guys think?
Dan

I don't brew it, review it, talk about it, take pictures of it......I just drink it.

Sure. But, a 'home picture' of the beer should be optional. I'll take other Polkies at their word for actually trying the beer.

You can start. I have a beer I just tried last weekend that I'll post after you start.

Dude thats a beautiful triple play you got there. Boddington is one of my favorite beers, I never had Scottish Ale but it's on my list. Youngs , no more words needed. WOW.

The head on that Boddington, if poured correctly gets as thick as marshmallow. It's good for 2 but after i crave something a little more, oh how do i say this, flavorful.

Today at a restaurant next to gillete stadium, i had Peak Organic IPA out of Plymouth, MA and a Mayflower IPA out of Portland, ME......those are my fall flavors. Delicious!

This one's from Alaska Brewing & is AMAZING! Definitely one of the best beers I've had in a long time. It's got loads of flavor but, just when I expected it to be too strong, it smoothed out. If you like stouts, track this one down!

The best beer I've ever tasted, by a large margin, is Tusker. It's an African beer, kind of hard to find, but well worth the effort.

Many IPA lovers also like Porters, Stouts , Lagers and so on. It's all in ones palate. Why do so many people like light beer? To me you might as well drink hotdog water. Yuengling Light being an exception. It's hard to deny a finely crafted brew.

I love IPA's but they're not meant to be drank in quantity. I like almost any type of beer, but some beers are better off in smaller quantities.
