banana plugs do not insert.

This might have been covered in another thread but I cannot find it.My problem is that I have multiple devices that accept banan/plugs but it seems that length does matter here. With my Yamaha RX V-665 I insert these universal bananas and they go all the way in and it seems to be a tight fit ,now with my Adcom gfa555 the same plugs only go in half way. There does not seem to be any ill effects to this fit but alot of the shaft is still visible. On both units I've tried it w/ the posts tight all the way or loose all the way and it has no bearing on sound reproduction. Has any one else had this dual ill fitting plugs and what was your remedy for this .Again right now it plays fine and I'm getting full stereo.

I have some speakers where the banana plug does not go all the way into the post, and also A Marantz amp. There's only an 1/8" inch or so exposed, never been of any concern to me.

Mishaps...... That's putting it lightly!!!!!If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money. -
Some banana binding posts are not as deep as others , when it stops going in your done. Don't try to force it anymore. Your surface contact on those binding posts is smaller.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time.
