Also, just a reminder that they didn't upgrade the site for no reason. The forum was hacked badly and they needed to upgrade for security reasons.

The new version didn't fix that, it was hacked again right after the upgrade. Version 3 is still supported, and is just as secure. Version 4 has been around since 2009, it's not new either.

Had I known that the upgrade would shut some of you up I would have been bangin on Patrick's office door getting this done years ago......
Sorry, bad news, I'm still around! ;)

If you're coming to a forum because of how it looks, not because of the people there and the content on it, I'd say the place deserves to die anyway.

Ford changed their companies direction and if it wasn't for their affordable trucks and police crown victoria's, they would've been looking for a bail-out too.

Change is not ALWAYS needed or always good.

Maybe there's less posting and interactivity because questions don't get answered, remarks to someones post go unnoticed or non-responded to. Makes one not want to participate anymore. Sure a newbie will join every day, I just hope you don't get burned by one or three of them as the tried and true get kicked to the curb in the name of "change is good" crap.

I read that the older forum was outdated. Well, the mustang body style was changed in the name of progress and where did that take ford with mustang sales. Not untill they brought back the ORIGINAL outlines did the sales go up again. Just sayin'.

I don't care what Polk Audio does with this forums looks but if it gets hard to manuever through or read, I will will just get up off the curb and look at a couple more sites that I find were not as user friendly as the older Club Polk site was. I've read enough dislikes about a few things about this layout that I too hope gets changed.. Those smilies look like something from the 70's Kleeko (?) hand held toys. How did those smilies come with an advanced system from the 21st century is what I don't understand.

    Anyway,
Thanks Polk for having this Forum for Polk owners mainly and then whoever wants to join in!
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

...Color scheme is fine. Just reduce the size or replace the envelope icon. Most important is increase the FONT size of the post so we can all SEE it. Post will pop out and we will all get back to normal. Seriously...need the topic to stand out.

The new site is not very touch screen friendly now, there is not much difference between font size of thread title and poster name bellow it. The tags and icons at the start of thread names take too much space and are not hyper linked.

I stare at the PC all day long and it doesn't bother me. For whatever reason when I look at this site it bothers my eyes. I seem to not blink and it dries out my contacts. I think it is a lack of contrast or something.

At the very bottom, left hand side of this page, there's a little dropdown menu that says either "Red/Grey" or "VB4 Default Style." If it says the latter, change it to "Red/Grey." Did that help?

I think there are fewer threads lately because most everyone is consumed with whining about changes. There are plenty of threads addressing the same issues that have been brought up in this one.

Well if we were both built different it might be construed differently. Also realize that Brett's going deep sea fishing with the guys instead of spa day with all the ladies so if that doesn't toss him into the now pseudo-homo ring, not sure what will at this point.

Cody, don't knock my chaps dude....they've gotten me places.
