It looks like these came out on Tuesday, at least the base level Discovery package. Anyone listen to these yet, or read reviews anywhere online? The couple reviews I've seen on the box set actually don't look so good, so I'm hoping someone here has heard better.

Last time i search all the way. online music site, free site paid. but i failed to get that accept amazon.com
If you want original quality of this package, you can go there and collect one for you.

I have Animals, Meddle, and DSoTM, 2011, and I like them all very much. DSoTM is the least like for me out of bunch. It just seems like this remaster is not put together well. The sounds run to close together.

Meddle is my favorite. A great album IMHO.

I bought The Wall 2011 remaster, it's the best version I've heard. Very well done.

Last night I picked up 2 more 2011 Pink Floyd remasters. Dark side of the Moon and Wish you were here. Very nice! They were at Wally World of all places!

    Meddle.

Sounds pretty darn good - even for a CD!

Echoes just plain cranks and rocks!

Listening to it now. That whole album is fantastic. IMHO the best Floyd album with Animals a close 2nd.

+1 to Meddle. I A/B'd it to the original and there is no comparison. The original version sounds flat and lifeless compared to the new 2011 remaster. Very well done. I had a friend over at the time and he noticed the differences right away as well...

If any of you are on the fence about the Discovery box set, I say just do it. Of course, the better your system, the better they are going to sound, so ymmv.
