Surroundbar IHT 6000 - Subwoofer blinking red

The subwoofer of my Surroundbar 6000 seems to fall out of sync regularly. The issue occurs most often if the soundbar turns off by itself if left idle for a while (really wish it did not do this). When the bar is turned back on the sub blinks red and makes a very slight "put-put-put" sound with the blinks.
Even more annoying is when the sub goes out while watching a video or playing a game. Out of nowhere the bass just stops working and the sub starts blinking.
I love the sound of the system - it's perfect for my small living room which cannot accommodate a 5.1 system well. It also looks great. Unfortunately, the performance of the wireless sub, which was my biggest fear and doubt to begin with (not a wireless fan), is killing the system for me.
Any ideas as to what's causing these issues and how I might fix them?
Some extra info: The sub sits right next to an Xbox 360 and a Wii. The 360 is connected to the internet via cable, but the Wii is wireless. However, I've not turned on the Wii since purchasing the Surroundbar 6000.

Wireless controllers can cause interfence as well as anything else operating on 2.4 GHz. I would try unplugging the game systems and anything else operating on 2.4GHz (potentially cordless phones and wireless Internet). See if this improves things. If so, you can plug things back one at a time and see when the problem occurs. You may be able to switch wireless channels on the device(s) causing the problems.

It appears the interference is caused by the wireless Xbox 360 controller. Every time I reset the sub and started playing (using the controller) the sub would start blinking red. A bit embarrassing considering I had a friend over to play Gears of War 3 and it seemed I spent more time resetting the sub than playing the game. Worst part was him saying "um...how much did you pay for that?"
Unfortunately, the controller is kind of essential to using the Xbox 360. Even if it was not, I cannot justify paying $450 for a product that forces me to turn off other wireless devices in my home. I'll try moving the sub around the room a bit, but it looks like I'm going to have to return it unless there's some magic to keep the sub from turning off when it sits near any sort of modern technology.
