    They are vastly different types of aircraft. The only thing they have in common is that they fly.:rolleyes: I read much about the issues with the 737. Many other commercial and transport aircraft have suffered similar fates after loosing elevator trim. There are also aircraft that have returned from combat or had major control surface failures that did not result in loss of the aircraft. Perhaps the biggest factor in the crash was not the loss of trim or the pilot. Put his plane at 5000ft instead of 50ft and perhaps we would not be having this discussion at all.
