Hi all..

I'd like to take just a second to recognize "madmax" here on the forums for a pretty terrific thing he did for my family tonight. I won't go into details in case he doesn't want me to, but the gesture is very kind and very much appreciated. You're a true gentleman. Thank you Chuck.

I'll send you a link with pics as soon as I get some uploaded to flickr.

Chuck is a pretty cool dude. A little esoteric, kind of a mad scientist type, but we love him. He's an original, and has ears like a bat. I mean before ME original. I'm talking OVER ten years ago. He IS a founding father on Club Polk. Ask George Grand, or RonP. I'm talking like one of the first 50 registered members on CP, of which we have a handful left. I'm talking about WAY before vBulletin, right after Al Gore invented the internet.

No big deal, a lot of nice things happen between members at club polk, we are a family. I have received more than my share of niceness in the past and have seen others share in the same.

Al and I got together on this one because we both knew club polk needed a home.

I've dealt with madmax a few times. He's a good dude. I'm going back to what 2002 when we had our dealing? Maybe 2001? I don't remember now.

I also have been here since the dawn of time. I joined in 90's with the original format. I remember the very first foam change , everyone was in disarray . Snake was also around back then.

Snake was fun, especially when GG got on his case.

When I think of niceness on this site I think of things like Russman collecting funds on 911, or was that new orleans, or both? Troy fighting for us overseas, Anthony picking up groceries for someone who needed them, Warlock giving me some speakers I have really had a lot of fun with as well as setting me up with a victrola. I've seen countless other cool things people have done for each other! Periodically I've seen people pass around fun stuff for nothing more than enjoying the fact that someone else is enjoying themselves. I remember Doro giving me a ride to pick up a rental car when I was moving as well as F1Nut feeding me burgers after an evening of listening and getting some high end speaker posts because someone wanted me to experience them. It goes on and on including people trusting me to try some really high end equipment without question and Mantis picking up one of the best pizzas I've ever had after making th trip to his place to pick up some media. Club polk is an awesome place with a lot of awesome people! Sorry for the hundreds of other cool things I know I did not mention.

Edit: And lets never forget GG and the on-going sales of LP's for the Githens center. This goes on and on. Thanks George!
