Spotted these on the local classifieds for super cheap, design similar to older RTxxxi series, but they're not familiar... anybody recognize them?

Aaah, the only ones listed in the vintage lookup is the 600i's, and I can't seem to Google the differences between the two, any enlightening info how the might work as surrounds with 800i fronts?
If so, worth picking up for $40 to try?Up

Worth every bit of $40. The 'i' had a different colored driver, and slight mods to the tweeter and xover.

Hey Thanks! Good review, somehow I missed that one.I feel the RT55 bookshelf speakers from Polk is superior to the RT600 in sound quality. This is mostly attributed to the dual 6.5" woofers found in the RT55 as opposed to the single 6.5" woofer in the RT600. This is a prime example of how a bookshelf speaker from the same company can outperform one of their own floor standing speaker systems. In this case, don't waste your money on the larger cabinet, the better value is with the bookshelf speaker with a more ellaborate driver compliment.
Sounds like I might be better off leaving the RT35i's where they are!
But really, for $40 worth dinking with?Up

I agree! I only posted the link because it had info on the speaker. I suppose I should have said I don't necessarily agree with the review. For $40 it is a no brainer.
