sr5250 crossover on sr6500 driver

hi, i lost one of my sr5250 drivers. i have both crossovers. i also have the sr6500, driver only, can i use this driver on the 5250 crossover safely? i will be running them in hi pass mode only, no bass. what would be lacking? i know the 5250 and 6500 crossover is different. thanks alot.
