Craigslist, Ebay, and Audiogon are your best bets.

what are some good brands to look for???

Some of the older amps offer the best value. Look for a adcom, carver, rotel, b&k. If you have a little more money a sunfire, classe, or parasound. A budget will help people offer a better idea. If you want new then they are considerably more expensive.Front - RTiA5's
Rear - RTiA3's
Center - CSiA4
Sub - PSW110 -
What exactly are you looking for? Do you want to power all speakers or better your mains for music?Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
