PA880 Bass Boost Knob

I recently installed the PA880 Amp and it works good. I plugged in the remote Bass Boost\Adjuster and turning the knob all the way up or down doesn't change how loud or how much bass I'm hearing. I am wondering if anybody else has this issue or if there is something that I'm not doing that I need to.
