And that is why my sig tag deleted itself.

I'm not sure what to say other than very nice.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

"Overkill" isn't even an adequate word to describe that system. I think you need to write Merriam-Webster and have them invent a new word for you.

Don't know how much the electric bill went up. But I did go look at the meter spinning outside one time when "power watching" a movie and I can tell you that it was spinning pretty fast.

Joe, that's one heck of a HT there. Really nice work setting that up! Must sound 'fantastic'!

Careful, you might have us 'visiting'! lol Actually, I've been to Quebec a few times, it' only a few hours from here--and always very welcoming.

I think overkill is a pretty accurate discription.

    Joe,

Speakers look great. I like the black tops.

I saw you're looking to upgrade your center. Get a Monitor 10, or 7. You won't be sorry. Slap some 194's in and it'll be timbre matched to your mains, plus either of those Monitors can handle serious bass. I like the 10 as a center because it has (2) midwoofers for a slightly wider, better integrated sound.

You could also do dual CRS+'s above and below the screen, but you'll have to rewire them to get rid of the SDA effect, or just not use the interconnect, but then you'd only be using one midwoofer per speaker.

Either way, I have found that using a vintage Polk as a center is the best match for vintage Polks as fronts.

Living Room: PC > Marantz AV-7703 > Emotiva XPA-5 > Sonus Faber Liuto Towers, Sonus Faber Liuto Center, Sonus Faber Liuto Bookshelves > Dual SVS PC12-Pluses

    Office: Phone/Tablet > AudioEngine B1 > McIntosh D100 > Bryston 4B-ST > Polk Audio LSiM-703's

What you omit to metion to DMara is that Hydro Quebec is cheap compared than any other power companies of the RoC or any US providers (that doesn't stop us from complaining though  ).

Joe, I know you are using commercial rack mounts for your set-up. Would you have any comments/pointers for me please ( http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123409 )?
