I'm such a Pass Labs fan boy. My diy B1 pre amp has been on the bench waiting for upgrades, and I'm currently running an F5 clone. For some reason, I haven't been able to get onto the Pass Labs or PassDIY sites for months from any computer in my house. Must have some type of security conflict with the sites.

His slot loaded open baffle project is really intriguing as well. There's a write up by him on Enjoy the Music's site.

Definitely out of my price range. But a gorgeous unit nonetheless!

Being an engineer, I love this type of stuff, even if I never will own it. Now all we need is for the nay-sayers to chime in on how all pre-amps sound pretty much the same, etc.

My 16K is going towards a pair of speakers.
Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
Sony XA-5400ES SACD; Pass XP-22 pre; X600.5 amps
Magico S5 MKII Mcast Rose speakers; SPOD spikes

Shunyata Triton v3/Typhon QR on source, Denali 2000 (2) on amps
Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables

Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
    Three 20 amp circuits.

I was wondering when Pass was going to return to a three chassis design for their top-of-the-line line level preamp. Their former top-of-the-line preamp, the X0.2, was a dual mono three chassis design which was superseded by the two chassis XP-20.

The XP-20 was not fully accepted as a lineal descendant of the X0.2 due to differences in circuit design and aesthetics, although it was touted as better than the X0.2 in every aspect of performance.

I did not find any pictures of the XP 30 remote on the Pass Labs website, but I expect the XP 30 remote to be similar to, or exactly like, the XP 10 and XP 20 remotes.
