Yeah, I work on that stuff every day but mianly Sprint.

I used the nextel/sprint phone, has always worked for me. Mainly the radio service for work, comes in handy on construction projects.
Any suggestions on a new one Mark ? The old one is getting long in the tooth. Have the i580, built like a tank, dust resistant, also good for work. Looking for something more updated and not too delicate.

    Frankly, I don't give a damn.

Left ATT after our first cell phone... back in.... 1998? Maybe 2000 at the latest. In this area, at least, nothing can touch the coverage of Verizon.

No one touches their prices either. That's why I have T-Mobile.

 Precisely! I hope they can hang on. I really don't want to be at the mercy of either Verizon or ATT.

I'm about to attend a meeting at work in 10 mins regarding the merger. I'm sort of an "insider" (but not with either AT&T or T-Mobile). Wonder if there's any "insider news"....

It is interesting how the pendulum of competition vs. monopoly has swung back and forth over the years.
