Selling my Pioneer KRP-500M Plasma monitor. Purchased it 18 months ago and its in great condition and has played without any problems what so ever. The unit has less than 1000 hours of use and comes with the optional stand. This is Pioneers last plasma made and is said to have the best and deepest blacks in the Pioneer family.

local pickup only.

I love the VT25....the VT30 I've seen and its also very good. I have not seen the VT30 however with a full calibration but only THX mode which was good but the cali would help even more.

They have a VT30 65in over at Hi FI last time I stopped in there. They also had a VT25 I think it was a 65 but can't remember for sure.

it's 3D and it's pretty nice but you will find your Pioneer has a better picture quality. Crazy being a few years old and going up against the best Panasonic has to offer. But you will gain inches and that sometimes means more.....to whom you talk to.

nothing I've seen so far compares, but I haven't seen the new VT30 series. If this TV was 3d I'd be set for a while. This TV black levels are better than my Elite plasma.

3D is overrated and hyped. I have 2 sets (passive and active) and prefer standard viewing. YMMV.

Agreed, I have a buddy with a Pioneer Elite Kuro Pro 101-FD.

I 2nd this! I went for the best and bought the 65" VT30 a couple months ago. The THX mode is magnificent, extremely theater-like!!! I gave up 3D even though this plasma set didn't have any blurry-action or ghosting issue like the LED's. The main reason is I've always got a headache after watching one of those current 3D movies for more than 30 minutes.

So do I. I was just carried away by the 3D hype when I bought mine. Just like you, I prefer watching in standard 2D mode.
