Yes that is right, I was lucky enough to find a complete set. Rt5000P all in excellent condition !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got the fronts, center, and of course the FX 1000 rears !!!!!!

If I had to rate the cosmetic condition, 9.5 out of ten !!!! Functionality is a complete 10 !!!!!!!!

The seller, terpaholic, a complete 10 !!!! He even gave me a bunch of Monster cable to go along with !!!!!! Alek was very pleasant to deal with. He had everything setup when I got there so i could make sure it all worked and helped me load my car.

I can listen to music again, I thought at first my RT1000 were the best speakers I ever had, then I got a set of RT2000's, those made the RT1000 sound like junk.....now these RT3000 make my RT2000 sound like junk, unbelievable. I am listening to MP3's streaming through my blue ray player, I never did it before because it always sounded like crap. I feel like I am back in 1990 with whatever I had then that made my music sound great.

I switched between a couple of movies on cable that were in HD and 5.1 surround and that sounded great as well.....Next I need to try a good blue ray...

I want to thank Alek, "terpaholic" for being a great seller.

I also want to thank Doug, "dpowell" for putting up with and responding to all of my PM's yesterday. Your advice was great, I looked for everything you told me to look for and I was not dissapointed. And you were right, as you said yesterday, I will quote you, "See it is true, here at club Polk, we help each other spend money." Now I am contemplating a new receiver, one with pre outs for the sub portion of the RT3000 and the center CS1000.....Thanks for helping me spend my money !!!!!

Thanks Alek for a great system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Dave,
Nice score and glad you are liking them! They do blow away the RT2000's by a mile. My pleasure helping and always glad to help others spend their money. It's nice to be able to reciprocate all of the help spending my money I've received from the forum. Enjoy!

Spend some time getting to know the speakers and how they sound with your current setup. Then you'll be able to truly appreciate the upgrades as you add an AVR with preouts and eventually a power amp.

Nice system and one I always wanted and never got. If I come across a complete system it's going to be extremely difficult to turn down.
    What was craigslist website??

no, didn't find this one on craigslist...i got bored at work last week and searched this forum for RT5000 and came across the person, Alek, who sold me these. He hadn't even made a for sale thread, I think he posted that he had a set in another thread......I just got lucky.

the few times I have seen full sets, even one a year ago which was about the same distance away, I could never pull the trigger, this time I did, and very glad...

Now that you have a reference home theater system, you need to get a set of SDA's or SDA-SRS's. Those are great and just maybe better for listening to your music!!

    Have fun,
I been having fun with my RT3000P's for years. I just bought a CS1000P from Denny , here a couple of months ago. I just bought extra upper RT3000Ps from Trey, here a few weeks ago.

I'm very happy with mine !!!.
I might just use RT55's, I also bought from a member a year ago here also, for rears because they match the Rosewood finish.

    Looks like the Rosewood finish..

    Dave,

The system looks great. As I mentioned to you, it was truly sad to part with these speakers -- you wouldn't consider giving them back, would you? Just kidding; I'm very happy they found a good home.

By the way, all -- my review of DL090465: 10/10. Very nice doing business with Dave -- he even threw in a bonus CD!

    Alek

P.S. - Dave, you now have to update your signature!
