Hey Guys! I just purchased a Surroundbar3000 system and, when I turn on the system it starts off just fine, but then randomly it will start turning up really really loud... And it keeps turning up louder and louder from there, I love this system BUT if it keeps doing this I might just have to take it back and replace it with another soundbar system. Is there ANY way to fix this at all?

Are you by chance sitting on the volume button? or maybe a cat/dog?

I had a dog that used to always jump up on the couch with me and lay his head on my lap. Frequently he would lay on the remote and crank that volume up, lol

Here is another thing to check. Do you have any compact fluorescent (or standard fluorescent) bulbs in the vicinity? When they get old and wear out, they will start to flicker. However, they may be flickering at too high of a frequency for your eyes to see, but at just the right frequency to trigger a particular remote control command. I've experienced this before, so I know it can happen.

Its weird because I do have a dog and a cat, but the remote is always on the table, and they are never wnywhere near it. I actually dont have any lights near my TV area, theyyre more towards the back of the room. Lol. As far as I know the only thing that I can think of to be the problem is my xBox controller? but at times the xBox isnt even on so Im kind of thrown off by it all.

Are they any sort of fluorescent bulb? Even if they're not in the immediate vicinity, if the light can reach the soundbar at all, it can affect it.
