Selling a Rotel RSX 1067 suround sound receiver. 100 watts per channel x 7 channels .05% THD at 8 ohms.

The manual is HERE (and the specs are on the on the next to last page).

Cosmetically, it is flawless and it has no issues operationally.

I'm selling this receiver on behalf of the widow of my late and most excellent neighbor. After loosing interest in HT, he was just using it as a 2 ch integrated with a pair of B&W 805 Nautilus. It was lightly used (I never heard his system through my condo walls); I doubt that he would say the same of me  Having listened to it a lot, and knowing my neighbor, I feel I can vouch for this equipment as if it were my own.

$500 plus shipping.

I'm selling the Nautilus 805s too, but enjoying them too much to list them just yet. PM me if you are interested.

I post a photo soon.

I would use it for a 2 channel system , hell yeah , it's that good. mate it with just about any speakers , 4 ohms no problem , plenty of current. This would also make a kiler 5.1 music system for SACD , this is where it's at for this receiver. Theater rocks on it , everything it does is magical. I know everything about it as I have Installed so many of them and walked away with a huge smile every single time. Mostly was B&W CDM series or Dynaudio Audience on it.
Man I miss those days. Wish I had an extra 500 laying around I would buy it just because.

It's an amazing receiver and can power a full LSi system even if you had LSi15's all around running full range at 100db every day all the time until your ears bleed or couldn't afford the electric bill anymore.
This receiver is very powerful and no External amp is necessary for just about any speakers made period.I prefer the sound of Rotel amps over Sherwood amps. I feel they sound stale compared. Rotel is very smooth and accurate. Powerful and clean.

I'm soooo tempted to buy this, sell what I have now and pocket the difference. Currently have a Rotel RSP-1068 with an Emo XPA-5. I bet this would be a lateral move but I would probably end up a few hundred dollars ahead.

I owned RSX-1065 (the previous model) and paired it with an LSi9 and Rel Strata III Sub. It was as clean and powerful as it can be. Plus, you get the tuner to boot. I never had issue with power when it was doing full 5.1 HT. I moved to 7.1 and that's the reason I sold mine. At $500? pfft. I paid mine close to $2K.

I'd love to buy this just to keep it for later, it's simply that good.
