    Font forget the "curtain" trick I mentioned if you've got a wife or gf who hates wires.

    No wife or GF at the moment. Should i be happy or sad? A little bit of both. :smile: :frown:

    Thanks for the models again and the advice, glad you approve! I guess we'll figure out if it works when i place the tv on it soon haha! I found someone who made one that seemed way (way) less supportive but otherwise identical and said it took his weight of 165 lbs. I feel like it could easily handle 75 lbs, and upwards of 150lbs (more, if his accepted 165 lbs). Too scared to try though. :wink:

    Sand it smooth and lay on some thick sandable primer. Get it nice and smooth. Lay down a flat black or gloss black paint.

    I'm sure it will hold your TV without breaking a sweat. What the heck did that guy have on his?! 165 is a LOT! :eek: My 28 year old brother doesn't even weight 165!
