First ever Man Cave
Well, some of you have seen my set up pre-marriage and some of you have my set up post-marriage.
I've only started this venture less than two years ago with nothing but an LCD flat panel and a blue ray player.
Both set ups have been in my bedrooms, my wife has been so patient, watching me go from Onkyo speakers and replacing them with PolkAudios, replacing my Onkyo sub with a chest banger. Adding an amp, tweaking always......and now, Sept 1, we'll finally be moving into a home with some space, the girls will have the upstairs while the master and "my" space will be downstairs.
Once, I have everything set up, I'll try to post up a couple of pictures. I'll miss watching my favorite movies while laying in bed, but the extra space I'm getting is way cool, I can finally turn up the Empire

Just remember no man cave is complete with out a black velvet nude painting hanging some where.“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” ~ Mark Twain

And a beer Neon!!! Nothing too tacky for a true MAN CAVE!

Congrats Geoff4rfc! We are in the process of buying a house right now and the anticipation of having a bigger place for my set up is killing me. Enjoy.

I'm moving in Sept 1 and I can hardly stand it, a rec room to set up however I want, I may just pass out.
I'm having my Mom send me a neon Lone Star beer sign from S.A. TX, I don't know about the velvet nudie but I'm considering dogs playing poker.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2

Sounds awesome! Very excited for you. The house I'm renting just sold and the wife and I will probably be moving into her sister and brother-in-laws basement for a few months to pile up some cash and be able to buy a place with my own man cave this spring! Can't wait to see pictures and get some inspiration for what will hopefully soon be my very own Audio/Video haven.Main Setup
Fronts - Energy RC-50's
Center - Energy RC-LCR
Rear - Energy RC-R's
Subs - Gone...
AVR - Pioneer SC-37
Blu-Ray - Sony BDP-S360
TV - Vizio E550I-B2
Media Server - Mac Mini -
I haven't measured the area yet, just inside the sliding door is a wet bar. At the other end of the room is a gas fireplace (won't use it). I'll probably set up infront of the fireplace with my back to the wet bar.
I just started moving my stuff in today, all seven speakers, receiver, amp and bluray player. Gonna wait for Saturday to move the sub, it's an Empire and I'm not feeling quite THAT buff (Sat I'll have extra hands).
Anyway, I'm excited about getting my console out of storage to use as a TV/equipment stand. Got this at Costco, two doors with three possible interchangeable panels, solid wood, glass or speaker fabric. One shelf on either side and the TV is mountable to float above the cabinet so the CS2 will fit underneath easy. The rear has two sliding vents on each side but I'll still continue to utilize my receiver fans.
I'll try to be diligent about getting some pictures to post, gosh, I'm going to miss my bedroom set up. I'm already having separation anxiety.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2

I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
Congrats on the new place.
Thanks, the room measures 15.5 x 20 with an extra 10 x 12 to the side, large enough for the foosball table.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2

Make sure you post some pics when it's all setup.

Wow! You must be really excited setting up your speakers and stuff in that space. Post pictures when you're done. How many days would it probably take you to finish everything? Or maybe by now you're already done..
