Should've known what any thread about cars would turn into...Ludicrous gibs!

nadams, I am in the same boat as you right now. I owe a year on my titan a little over a year on my nissan titan and am nervous about being out of warranty considering all of the reoairs that were done under factory warranty. So much so that I have considered getting rid of the truck (thereby negating my dream of not having a car payment at some point in my life) or doing something I never said I would do (getting an extended warranty on the vehicle). I am semi-handy when it comes to repairs, but don't try to get too involved for fear of FUBAR'ing the vehicle. So I am a bit conflicted. Sounds to me that considering you have had pretty good luck with an 11 year old truck that it may be worth keeping and working on, putting a little money into it and get a few more good years out of it. Just my .02. I am leaning on keeping mine although Mark's truck is for sale and its calling my name!!!!!Shawn

You're just jealous 'cause the voices don't talk to you! -
I have lots to say but it will all get me banned.
But I have to wonder, with all those problems on your "Fords and Chevies", especially with parts that weren't on them, it makes me wonder, is it the car that's the problem or the owner?
Hey, living the fantasy is what its all about. Hmmm. Seems you do a lot with cars and trucks, seems you know a lot about how to fix them. Hmmmm...
Sorry naddams, I really would like to see you get a quality vehicle that didn't keep you down. Those pics of the torn down motors and the descriptions of repairs that have been made just make me cringe at this point, especially when I think of how much maintainence cost I used to shell out when I didn't have it to shell out. I'll leave your thread alone.Vinyl, the final frontier...
Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... -
Well I'm going to trump your anecdotal evidence with my own. I own 4 Ford, only one has less than 100,000 miles on it and I do standard maintenance and wear items.
Oops, sorry, just had to point out, there is a reason you need FOUR of them. :biggrin:Vinyl, the final frontier...
