Receiver for RTi-A7
Hi Guys,
Last week I got my new RTi-A7 speakers which connected to my
YAMAHA RX-V565.
I would like to upgrade the receiver and to buy a new one.
Which one can best fit to the RTi-A7?
Thanks,
Shmulik.

I tend to agree with this more . At accessories4less you can check it out for Marantz or Onkyo if you want to keep it on a budget , the Pioneer the new Elite 53 is also a option but less priced than the 55 or 57 . There`s a lot of options out there .
Are you looking for a receiver to your mainly music listening or to your normal 5.1 , 7.1 etc system ???
Regarding the amps , after you have a receiver with pre-outs you can take a look at Emotiva , Outlaw or Parasound . -

An SC-35 or 37. http://www.unitedonlineshopping.com/Political Correctness'.........defined

What F1nut said. The ICE amps on the Pioneer SC units will power the RTi A7s sufficiently until you decide to get an amplifier.
But I agree w/ the Parasound suggestion as well. They definitely mellowed out some of the brightness of my RTi A7s.ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place

Porter1173 just posted a thread in Electronics showing a link to Costco where they are selling the Pioneer SC-35 for $749. That would be a good match for the RTiA7's.Home Theatre.............

The Pioneer should be less bright than the lower end Yamaha. If you get the SC series you will not likely need an amp. It also has better Dac's than a lower end Receiver and better overall components. Thats why I went with the SC series. I did it this way even though it cost more, because I wanted the better Receiver with the option of adding an amp if required. I don't plan on getting an amp at this point, as the Receiver is great on its own. You would likely come to the same conclusion.Home Theatre.............

I just bought an SC-35 yesterday and like the sound better now without my Adcom, it's more than enough for my Rti8's.

Just FYI - Newegg is having a sale this weekend on the Yamaha RX-A2000 - supposedly the new Yamahas aren't as bright as the old lower end ones. $1399 - $500 with a code (EMCYTZT665). I think this is the 2nd model from the top - all the current bells & whistles, 130wpc. And it's 35lbs which is decent heft.ALL BOXED UP for a while until I save up for a new place

I demoed a RXA2000 yesterday when I picked up my Elite. It sounded really nice and smooth, especially for music. It was hooked up to some Paradigm studio bookshelves and wasn't bright at all.
