Well, if I'm not mistaken, we've had a wholesale deletion of a thread here about the downgrade of the US credit rating; if that is the case, I'm completely out here.

This country has problems that are TERMINAL, they are not getting fixed because no matter where you are or where you go any discussion of them are off limits; this is totally INSANE.

Ban me and delete all of my 150 or so posts, I could not care less.

    The same power cords that I've not heard one word on since I called about them when I got home almost a month ago.

    Whatever is happening on the outside can be talked to death elsewhere. It's just not going to be here. This is an audio website, first and foremost and we don't live in reality. Why you would get so emotional over this is beyond me, since you already know that kind of conversation doesn't work here. There are dozens of websites you can join others in the fight but while you're here, it's audio man. Cmon Aviator, relax while at Club Polk, that's all I'm saying.

    Aviator- Them there are the rules bro. I'm probably the biggest violator of that rule too but when it gets deleted, I don't cry about it because those are the rules set forth by the owners we all agree to when we sign up. The mods know that at times we all blow off steam from any set of problems from around the globe, and they let it go so far, give us a little latitude, before axing the thread. I appreciate that, but also respect they have a job to do also. Occasionaly even us old folks get out of line, some subjects will just pull your short hairs the wrong way. Bottomline is we are wrong, myself included, and the mods do a great job keeping everything on the up and up. No complaints here from deleted threads.

    It was my thread that gets deleted. I don't know why or for what reason but if people are making politics part of it and start fighting, it's a good reason to delete some posts and thread closed down.

    But Deleted? Really Polk Mods? Are you guys that wussy now? It is a News Thread that effect us all and making buying and spending decision!

    I missed all the actions but do tell what's in it to get the whole news thread deleted and disappeared into oblivion.
