That all depends. Do you have a problem with vibrations ? What kind of rack do you have ? Glass is terrible for transfering vibrations, metal too. If your not on solid wood, the brass footers maybe a waste of coin and mapleshade footers sure aren't cheap. Plenty of other options out there for vibration control but given the right circumstances, heavy brass footers can make a difference. Are your speakers on carpet, over wood floor or concrete ? Just putting brass footers on a cdp that rests on glass or metal racks is a waste without first putting a solid piece of hardwood under.

Floors are wood over concrete and vibrations aren't noticeable at my normal listening levels but crank it up a little and they are their but not terrible.
The CDP is on a particle board shelf.

Not all vibrations come from underneath, from the floor, in fact alot are airborne, and some chassis/cases of equipment are flimsy enough to be affected that way. heavy objects in stratejic places on the outer enclosure can help damp unwanted resoneces, you have to experiment. Just another thought to ponder.
