...As with you and audio. Get back to us with the subject at hand and then we can discuss a conversation of which is that beyond that of an elementary school conversation. Until then? Stay in the corner with that special hat.

    Thanks, bro'.

Went on today and they asked me for my bank password and the answers to the two or three security questions?

    I think not.

How does making me less secure make me more secure? Think I'll try the 3 day process now for banking verification, as no third party will EVER get that information. Who the hell do they think they are, asking for that kind of information anyway?

I'm not sure at this point but I could have sworn I read in the terms and conditions of the bank that giving out this kind of information is a violation of said terms and conditions and could result in a closing of the account. Not to mention, I'm quite sure that if there is an issue that arises that I would not be covered because I provided such information.

I just ordered a couple of martin logan encore's from ebay 5 minutes ago. I used pay pal and never got asked for any new details whatsoever so I would be kinda hesitant about entering additional info

[EDIT]...In case I'm not in the know, I reserve the right to put my head into the ground and stick my **** up like a crack **** on 5th street after what I said. [EDIT]

My advice was in relation to the fact that he's already visited the site and my suggestion will quickly verify wether it's a phishing site or not. Also, I should prepend my instruction with:

    1. Make sure that you have your antivirus and service packs up to date.
    2. Do not give out any of your real information.

Mainly because 'going to the company website directly and asking' may take longer (via email). But if you can call them and get immediate result, then that's good.

Open the email, click the 'paypal' link and try to login with a fake/random email & password.

If it goes through, then I'm afraid you've been phished.

PS: Look at the browser's address bar. It should say paypal.com if it's the real site. I'm betting it's not.

Continuing to interact with a suspect email and website is playing with fire no matter how up to date your antivirus or service packs are because you have no idea what method of attack they are using. I repeat, NEVER open a suspect email, click on links, or visit a suspect website because you think you can outsmart the crooks and discover something. It's bad advice and plays right into whatever scheme they're using. No matter how inconvenient going to the legitimate site or making a phone call to the company is, it's the only way to clear up something if you think you've been targeted by electronic criminals.

Now for the endless non-personal automated BS when I try to call......"Need 6 pin account#" What? Never had that before.....

    "Can't find account"......

LOVE the personal touch.... *bangs head*

If you go through the site, you get a 6 digit pin when selecting "contact us", then "call us". Then call 402.935.2050. Seems pretty straight forward.

USPS MO is a PITA, Paypal is all about convenience. Never had a single issue with Paypal. I even us it at websites instead of a credit card. Faster and even more secure.

I dislike accepting MO's for payment because that means I have to make a physical trip to the bank. That's so yesterday.

Well, just an update on this. I went with option 2 and I did not have to disclose the information they requested. PP for me was back up and running within a couple of days, no issues and no personal information provided.

I was just throw for a loop when they asked me to provide information that nobody but me and my wife should be privy too.

Well hell, about the only information they didn't ask for was the pin on the back of the card. I wouldn't be expecting that in your mailbox either.
