Am I stupid to get big speakers if I don't turn my volume up loud?

One thing I would change about this forum. If you have less than 1000 posts, you can be treated pretty disrespectfully. One of the forums I post on is the Motorcycle Journal Forum. We treat newbies with respect, because most of them have had lots of real world experience before they discovered on line forums.
I have more than 1000 posts  hello !!!! lol -

I have also noticed long time members with thousands of posts being treated disrespectfully...sometimes by new members, other times by other long time members.
With regard to newbies, as with any social group, if you are unknown you are less likely to get the benefit of the doubt from some group members if you say something perceived to be "off" or "crazy". I'm not justifying the behavior, just offering insight.Proud and loyal citizen of the Digital Domain and Solid State Country! -

@ DarqueKnight...
I would listen to and absorb your knowledge and stories of experience before I would give the time of day to the majority. You, Sir, are a class act. Every post is true to topic and informative. You save the ridiculous banter and share your valuable insight and point of view. Your participation to this forum should be met with nothing but the utmost of respect and humility from ALL others involved.
I thank you for all your fine work.
1CToo much **** to list.... -

Thanks, but I have been known to mischievously veer (far) off topic from time to time.
Don't be so hard on the "majority". Most of the folks here are good people. I wouldn't have been an active member for over ten years if that wasn't so.Proud and loyal citizen of the Digital Domain and Solid State Country! -
Every- Might have been reaching a bit lol but you get my drift.
Just something abut your perspective that seems to cover all bases both veteran and newb. Thought I'd make a note of it.
I don't mean to imply anything negative of the rest just that your knowledge stands out as the one trust.Too much **** to list.... -

I can't figure out what the guy is saying half the time either, but how do you know how he meant his post to be taken? All I could chalk it up to was a failed attempt at humor... -
