True!
I'd love to demo them. How does this work? -
I'd like to hear the 703's, I'm sure we have plenty of NC/TN polkies who would love a demo!
I'm also willing to host a mini G2G here in nc to do an a/b on the 9s vs 703s, who has em now? -
I'm surprised they're still in CA! I had them back in August.____________________________________________________________

Maybe move these north. I see some Washington state users kicking around. I have no idea when I'll be able to hear these so keep it going!

So what I said before still goes. If/when these make it to within about 12 hours or so of Dallas, I'll come pick them up. I'd really prefer to keep it to about half that, but I can handle a 12-ish hour drive to get these. I have a full size wagon. My 2.3TLs fit in there, and these are nowhere near that big.Turntable: Empire 208

Yup, they were in Michigan, then in Indy with me, now they are somewhere in WI if I remember correctly. Speaking of, any available Polk LSiM's in the tri state area, I'd like to get my hands on a pair."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -
Is ANYONE willing to snatch these up from SoCal and split some distance for Audiocr381ve??? No one in Nevada? Let's get some old school Polk shuttle going on here because they are not going to be shipped. I'll just have them sent back to Polk if we can't get something simple worked out here guys....c'mon, let's work it out and set it off :twisted:CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Looks like we can count the West Coast out for large item demos."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Mark, as a last resort if you can't get them moving east, Nooshin and I can get them back to Polk HQ. I think John will be headed my way sometime this month.____________________________________________________________

I am pretty much the last stop in CA before AZ. Not sure how far Lancaster is from San Diego, but I could split the difference and maybe the next guy in AZ can do the same. I would be about 5 hrs from Phoenix, so 2.5 hrs for both parties?
-
Well, I hope they get a chance to come through Texas, preferably Dallas or Houston. Unfortunately hosting a demo of any sort is not in the cards for me, so I would prefer they end up with someone who can do so. However, if they do make it to a demo around here, I will certainly try my best to be there!

FYI, I replied to your other thread in the "speakers" section, but it looks like Face is closer.
I'm not in a rush to get them, but if I ever did, I would host a get together/demo where we could compare the LSiM's to vintage Monitors, SDA's, Maggies, and my new Ushers. All I would need is someone to bring some first gen LSi's, and we'd be set!
Or it could be all about the LSiM's. Either way, the point is that I could host a demo.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

Which model? There are reviews on the LSiM 703's v. stock LSi 9's v. modded LSi 9's. There are not any on the 707's v modded LSi's I believe.
