Is there anything that can be done to save a MW65XX that has an open at the terminals?

    Depends where the open is, If it's the wire from the voice coil to the terminal maybe but if it's in the voice coil NO.

    Thanks Gimpod, I do have continuty from the terminal to front of woofer so I guess it is in the VC.

    Oh well, never hurts to ask but I think I was just hoping againest hope.

    Ah hell, just remove the magnet and slide some aluminum foil in there and after it's all reassembled, turn it back on, crank it up then hope for the best. One condition; we'd like to see a video of what happens.....be sure to turn the lights off for the best effect. :wink:
