My first Maple Bacon Milkshake

That's right. Went to lunch yesterday to a new place that opened up two blocks away called Slater's 50/50. This place is just awesomely ridiculous.

Here's their website: http://huntington.slaters5050.com/home

Here's their menu: http://huntington.slaters5050.com/menu

I had their signature 50/50 burger (patty is 50% ground bacon, 50% ground beef) and it was amazing, one of the best burgers I've ever had, but this maple bacon milkshake was to die for. Vanilla milk shake chalk full of bacon bits and it arrives to your table with a mountain of bacon bits piled on top (instead of whip cream).

Needless to say with a menu like this and 80, that's right...80 beer taps I don't think I'll need to go to any other eatery for quite a long time.

Sounds like a trip to the Heart Attack Grill is in order!
    Yes, a real place.

With ya on this one bro. Bacon doesn't belong anywhere near my milkshakes. Grease and dairy do not mix well. Wait 'till Mrs. Obama gets a hold of them, they'll be adding apple slices on top of the bacon milkshake.

The 50/50 designation in the name of the restaurant may refer to the probability of some type of cardiovascular distress occuring during your meal. On the other hand, they have baconnaise. I'd roll those dice.

I could probably get on board with a burger with bacon in the meat, but you can keep the bacon milkshake.
